HISENSE (Director, Laser TV Sales)
- My leadership included driving programs and strategies to push the brand from #4 Market Share in Ultra Short Throw Projectors to a dominant and consistent #2 position.
- I also spearheaded the launch of a “Free Installation” Member Value promotion with Costco resulting in a 30% reduction in returns in the first six months of the initiative.
ENCLAVE AUDIO (Executive Vice President, Sales)
- I was able to take the line from virtually no distribution to launching multiple partnerships with targeted web-based and brick and mortar retailers. This was accomplished while developing a channel strategy and unilateral pricing policy to establish the integrity of the brand and dealer margins.
- All sales related activities including negotiating programs and partnerships with targeted dealers, buying groups, distributors, and rep firms, were my responsibility.
MOHU (Vice President, Sales)
- While driving the channel strategy to balance specialty, regional and national accounts at Mohu, I was able to elevate the brand to the number one share of digital TV antennas at Best Buy. This was achieved through the implementation of strategic programs and collaborative creation of innovative products.
- That foothold was further cemented by leading a multi-corporate synergy between Best Buy, Amazon Fire TV and Mohu, to drive a “Cord Cutting” promotion, including in-store displays.
HH GREGG (Vice President, Home Entertainment Merchandise)
- As the head merchant of HH Gregg’s Home Entertainment division during their aggressive growth period, I built and mentored a team of top merchants, developed key vendor programs, lead the way for the implementation of a corporate CPFR process, and grew revenue to $1B for my area of responsibility.
PANASONIC (Vice President, Regional Sales)
- I was hired to be a change agent after the departure of 85% of the sales force. I assembled and mentored a best-in-class 16-member regional sales and marketing division, while incorporating the new corporate vision and strategy.
- Together, we were able to exceed revenue budgets by 29%, and reestablish the credibility of the brand.
LG ELECTRONICS (Director, National Accounts)
- As the original Director of National Accounts focused on launching the LG brand in the U.S., I led trans-national collaboration and negotiations between Best Buy’s cross-functional teams and our product management to facilitate the launch of a multi-branded digital audio video assortment.
- The strategy generated three-fold growth in sales, made LG their #1 brand in DAV, and bestowed our team with their esteemed Bravo Award.
